McQuigg-Mixter Dissecting and Ligature Forcep is a specialized device that surgeons in different areas use to grasp and mobilize tissues, clamp blood vessels and perform blunt dissection to reach deeper spaces.

  • Longitudinal Serrations Promoting Atraumatic Clamping.
  • Elongated Straight Shaft for Enhanced Surgical Reach.
  • Ergonomic Finger Rings Ensuring Maximum Control.

The McQuigg-Mixter Dissecting and Ligature Forcep offers a broad range of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to permit adequate haemostasis during surgical procedures that require ligature.

For this purpose, the device features a pair of angled jaws that help to traverse narrow passages and cavities with ease. In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have unique longitudinal serrations, which are perfect to grasp heavy tissues. As a result, surgeons can mobilize and grasp viscera within the abdominal cavity.

Moreover, the McQuigg-Mixter Dissecting and Ligature Forcep features a ratchet system. Surgeons can self-lock the jaws at different pressure levels using the ratchet. Additionally, the device has a boxlock joint to face the jaws against each other with smooth movements.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms.
