For this purpose, the instrument features a straight or curved tapered needle designed to reach the tonsils with ease. In addition, the needle has a 0.65mm diameter to aspire small portions of tissue during Fine Needle Aspiration.

Moreover, the Tonsil Needle features a bottom Luer lock connection to permit the flow of fluids. Also, the Luer hub works as a connection site between the needle and a syringe or plunger system.
