The Babcock Intestinal and Tissue Grasping Forceps offers a wide array of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to mobilize the intestines during exploratory laparotomy, in order to gain a clear view of the operating site.

For this purpose, the instrument features circumferential, triangular jaws, which ensure optimal grip on tubular tissues. In addition, the internal surface of the jaws features horizontal serrations for protecting the grasped tissues.

Moreover, the jaws also include our UltraGrip technology. This feature reinforces the working surface with tungsten carbide inserts for stronger grasping action.
