Guilen Suction Raspatory is a specialized device that ENT, maxillofacial and plastic surgeons use to scrape bone surfaces or other hard tissues and to suction blood, fluids or tissue residues, especially during rhinoplasty procedures.

The Guilen Suction Raspatory offers a wide range of surgical advantages. Its principal uses are to enhance the view of the surgical field and remove sharp fragments from divided bones.

For this purpose, the instrument features a bayonet-shaped tube that enhances surgical access to the nasal cavity. In addition, the tip of the tube has a suction port that not only helps to remove fluids but also scrapes hard tissues. The device includes a wire for cleaning the lumen of the tube.

Moreover, the Guilen Suction Raspatory features a small, solid handle that enhances gripping. The handle has a finger valve that is ideal to cut off the suction by pressing a hole with the thumb. Also, the handle’s bottom includes a connecting oil to attach the device to a suction system.
