Tohoku Towel Clamp is a specialized device that surgeons in different areas use to statically hold surgical drapes around the operative site, in order to improve sightlines and reduce the risk of infection.

  • Blunt Tips Ensuring Atraumatic Fixation.
  • Distal Fine Serrations for Enhanced Gripping.
  • Ergonomic Finger Rings Promoting Superior Handling.

The Tohoku Towel Clamp offers a wide array of surgical advantages. Its principal use is to define the margins of the surgical site by clamping sterile drapes onto the skin.

For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of inwardly curved jaws for grasping two drapes and their underlying skin. In addition, the tips of the jaws are blunt and include fine serrations to minimize clamping trauma.

Moreover, the Tohoku Towel Clamp features finger rings that prevent accidental slippage. Also, the ratchet system is ideal to self-lock the jaws for permanent and secure fixation.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
