Logan Wound Spreader is a specialized device that general and orthopaedic surgeons commonly use to preserve the space between the margins of surgical wounds, in order to improve the view of the surgical site.
- Sharp Prongs to Traverse Heavy Tissues.
- Adjustment Screw for Self-Locking the Arms.
- Ratchet Bar for Enhanced Wound Retraction.
The Logan Wound Spreader offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to pull back superficial layers of tissues during surgery.
For this purpose, the instrument features 3 x 3 sharp prongs to separate wound edges away from each other. Also, the sharp profile of the prongs is ideal to penetrate into aponeurosis and muscles.
Moreover, the Logan Wound Spreader features a bottom ratchet bar and a sliding arm. Also, two screw mechanisms permit to move and retain the sliding arm into the desired position.
Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality and product performance during surgical procedures.
