The Kramer Retractor is a surgical tool that offers a wide range of advantages during general surgery.

Firstly, the retractor has an L-shaped blade with a concave upper surface. Thanks to this feature, surgeons can insert the blade underneath aponeurosis or peritoneal folds and, therefore, retract the tissues for exposing surgical field.

In addition, the retractor has a teardrop handle. The handle features a central ring and a hollow teardrop shaped space. The operator can insert his fingers withing the fenestrations for pulling back tissues in multiple angles.
