Klinikum Berlin Tubing Clamp is a specialized device that cardiovascular and general surgeons use to tighten the lumen of suction tubes, in order to control the flow of fluids during surgical procedures.
- Tranverse Serrations Promoting Exceptional Clamping.
- Extra-Long Ratchet for Enhanced Fluid Control.
- Ergonomic Finger Rings Ensuring Superior Handling.
The Klinikum Berlin Tubing Clamp offers a broad range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to control the fluid volume uptake by clamping the suction tube. Also, surgeons can use this device to clamp blood vessels.
For these purposes, the instrument features a pair of straight jaws with round edges to minimize local trauma. In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have transverse serrations that prevent slippage.
Moreover, the Klinikum Berlin Tubing Clamp features a long ratchet for self-locking the jaws. As a result, surgeons can apply different levels of pressure to the tube, in order to partially occlude its lumen.
