Fraser (Kelly) Artery Forceps is a specialized device that surgeons in multiple areas use to grasp, hold and block the blood flow in certain arteries of the body, in order to control haemostasis during surgical procedures.
- Serrated Surfaces to Minimize Endothelial Damage.
- 18.0cm Length Promoting Deep Surgical Reach.
- Ergonomic Finger Rings Ensuring Superior Handling.
The Fraser (Kelly) Artery Forceps offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to statically clamp small blood vessels.
For this purpose, the instrument features a pair of tapered, curved jaws that permit access into narrow spaces. In addition, the inner surfaces of the jaws have transverse serrations for achieving a steady and safe grip.
Moreover, the Fraser (Kelly) Artery Forceps features a ratchet system between the rings to self-lock the jaws. As a result, surgeons can apply different levels of clamping pressure according to the surgical target.
