Carrel Haemostatic Forceps is a specialized device that surgeons in multiple fields use to grasp, manipulate and clamp blood vessels and other soft tissues, in order to block the blood flow or mobilize structures.

  • Inner Serrated Jaws Promoting Atraumatic Clamping.
  • Straight Shaft for Higher Surgical Precision.
  • Ergonomic Finger Rings Ensuring Optimal Handling.

The Carrel Haemostatic Forceps offers a wide range of surgical benefits. Its principal use is to provide an atraumatic way to control haemostasis during vascular or general surgical procedures.

For this purpose, the instrument features small jaws with horizontal serrations that protect the endothelium from clamping trauma. In addition, the jaw’s design follows a straight outline to traverse narrow passages.

Moreover, the Carrel Haemostatic Forceps features a boxlock joint that ensures smooth movements. Furthermore, the ratchet system between the shafts is useful to self-retain the jaws at different levels of pressure.

Manufactured in premium grade stainless steel with a fine satin finish that reduces glare.
